Came for my 31st birthday for myself, brought along the misses and the kiddo ( a year and a half) and I'm going to be blunt, this was by far the best place for us to book. The service was above and friggin beyond. The room they were able to get us into was absolutely above my expectations, and the privacy with the beach, was seriously heaven sent. My only regret is I didn't book more days I soooo badly didn't want to leave a review because I wanna keep this place to myself but these lovely people deserve it! If you're ever in Osoyous and want to feel like youre close to home, please give this place a try. Thank you Poplars for the amazing time and I seriously am already planning my next trip over.
My fiancée and I decided to take the short drive from her home in Washington to Osoyoos - both of our first times in Canada! Came in for a winery visit. The management at Poplars was so polite and welcoming to us. The price for the room is amazing for what you get. We ended up with room 117, beach view. Very clean, comfortable beds, AC, and so quiet. Beautiful view of the lake. Nice outdoor rec area we didn’t use this time. We will definitely be back!
The cutest family-run motel on the lake! The same families have been coming here for decades for a reason. They have done tons of renovations with more to come. Nice barbecue and outdoor eating area, great beach at your fingertips. And the owner is the sweetest - she truly cares about your experience. I literally saw her having furniture moved from room to room to accommodate special requests. Close to everything, perfect location. You will have the best time :)
I recently stayed at the Lakeside and had a wonderful experience. The motel boasts a fantastic beach by the lake, which is incredibly clean and perfect for relaxation. The manager was exceptionally nice and friendly, always ready to assist with any needs. The staff were also outstanding, performing their duties with great efficiency and a cheerful attitude. Overall, I highly recommend the Lakeside for anyone seeking a clean, well-maintained place to stay by a beautiful lake beach.

We recently stayed at this fantastic motel and had a wonderful experience! Our family of four stayed in a spacious two-bedroom room with a stunning lake view. The motel is perfectly located right on the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach activities. The rooms were very clean and recently renovated, equipped with air conditioning which made our stay even more comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ area, which has four BBQs available for guest use, and the loungers on the beach, which are free for guests. As I understand, this is a family-owned motel, and it’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining the property. We didn’t hear any noise from the street, which allowed us to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. Overall, this motel is a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-kept, and conveniently located place to stay by the beach.
Bed was super comfy and the room was nice and clean! Stayed for just one night passing through but the room was maintained nicely and the location was ideal.
We are currently staying here. The rooms are terrific. The beach is awesome and kept very clean. The kids had a great time. They have BBQs and picnic area it is very nicely maintained . I would recommend this place to everyone what a great experience. Thanks to all the staff they are the best!!!
